Regular Meetings

The Core Council meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4:30 following the service at Suite Holmes, a.k.a. the new office at 1308 10th Ave. Everyone is welcome. The Core Council addresses the business of the church.

The Ecclesiastical Team meets weekly on Wednesday at noon at the church.   Everyone is welcome. The E-Team focuses on the components of the church services.


Class Schedule:

Science of Mind 101: Our 3 week over-view class that teaches what Science of Mind and New Thought are as well as what we believe. Great discussions and a chance to get to know each other. This class is also required for membership. Wednesdays starting March 3rd.

Beyond Limits/Foundations Class: Ready to step in to a new experience of life?
This is an 8 week class that covers the basics of Science of Mind, Affirmative Prayer and beginning a meditation practice. This class is a pre-requisite for most of our other classes. Wednesdays beginning March 24th.

Feb. 16th: Fat Tuesday Talent Night and Cajun Potluck! 5:30 p.m. for food, 6:30 for talent. This will be at the church building!

Feb. 28th. Rev. Mark Gilbert will be here for the service and afterwards he is going to do a workshop on Spiral Dynamics and Spirituality.


From the Greater Community...

Rev. Barbara and Viv do a bi-monthly radio program that focuses on authors and teachers working to inspire others to live more inspired lives. It is the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6. p.m. on 88.9 FM or by linking through KRFC

Vagina Monologues: Rev. Barbara is in it and we are going as a group on Feb. 20th. Tickets will be available ahead of time.

Pops and Pasta! We normally have a table or two- contact Carol Brickley or Phil White for tickets. Not until Feb. but tickets are already selling quickly.
